Firoz Shaikh's Dance Academy is a well known academy which performed Shadow Act and won awards at the fame of Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega & Halla Bol. At Ryan International Dance Fest it was recognised as the best dance troupe among 30 countries in Delhi, 2007. It also performed for first IPL match at D. Y. Patil Stadium Nerul, 2008. Firoz Shaikh is the first Indian choreographer to set up a shadow. The Troupe was then recognised as Silhouette Squad in 2010. It also groomed and choreographed for Mr. and Mrs. Navi Mumbai 2010. It performed shadow act for Documentary movie for Mahindra Finance Group in 2011. and for Mahindra Finance Awards Night at NCPA in 2011.
